| I've been trying to reformat my hard drive but it keeps blue screening during the process. Aside from the instructions, these are what I belive are the errors:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x0000000A (0xF914F04, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x807CB41F)

| How are you trying to reformat (and are you trying to reformat the entire drive)?

| I don't know how you can get a blue screen then, since you have to format from outside the gui and there's no way to get a blue error screen during a new format. So again, how are you trying to format?

| You don't make a new partition over top an existing one, you should delete the old partition and then insert your XP disc and boot to it and format your drive with NTFS.
