i deleted a partition that was created but why it`s that i can`t gain back the space from the partition after deleting it.How can i get back


the space from the deleted partition?Thanks

now do you have free space where the deleted partition was ? you may have to use something like Partition Magic to resize the partiton on the drive

You could use partition magic but if you don't what to....you can use your windows xp cd to delete all partitions on your hard drive then recreate a new partition that uses the whole hard drive.


Make sure you make backups of your important files first.

You have to recreate another partition after deleting one, right now it is just unpartitioned space. You can do this with the FDISK utility on a 98/ME bootdisk, or within XP itself, with disk management.

can`t resize using partition software.can`t delete it with xp disk

When starting from your XP Cd and choosing new installation, you can delete all partitions on your

harddrive.
