| For some reason, porn popups keep popping up over time, even when we aren't usuing the internet. None of us go to those sites either. Other things are getting installed also, like I just found Naughty Strip-Player on the desktop. It isn't even in the add/remove programs.
We have a anti virus so how is this happening and how can I stop it?
p.s. Im positive it is no one in my family! |

| Run that Spybot and Adaware from your other link, Yanks.
Let us know if they stop/disappear.

go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ and download 'Hijack This!'. Unzip, double-click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log somewhere, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet. Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.
Cheers
