hi, i too have been stuck with this stupid thing!!! ive tried your solutions, but it wont let me delete the av file. can anyone help me?!!

You will need to use HijackThis and remove the R1 and 04 entry the same as all the other threads. BUT do not reboot yet. Open taskmanager and end task on all instances of av.exe and mshta.exe

Then delete the C:\AV.exe file and reboot.
