I'm gonna assemble a new system and I'm not sure what PSU to get. I was thinking of the "Zalman ZM-400APF" or do I need more power than a 400W PSU considering it's gonna consist of:

P4 3Ghz (800Mhz FSB)

2x 512MB DDR 400MHz

GeforceFX 5900

2 hard drives (WD Raptor 10000rpm & WD 120GB 7200rpm)

dvd-rom

cd-rw

a few 80mm case fans (Xaser II 5000+ case)

ect....

Is a 400W PSU enough?

Depends. It should be enough in my opinion.

Unless you're going to add five case fans and a bunch of cold cathode tubes for effect, a 400W PSU is plenty for your planned install.
