Hello. I have a question about networking two Windows XP Home Edition computers. Both computers have ethernet ports. I connected the CAT45 cable to both computers. One cord, connected to both computers. I ran the network setup wizard and restarted the computers. I restarted both computers and then both of them couldn't detect the network drives or network.

If you're connecting two PCs together on a network from one NIC to the other, you need a 'crossover' cable, Ryan.

Ooops, wrong cable. I solved it before the reply though. I hooked the two up to a hub.
