| How do i deny access to certain folders on my network to anyone but me?

| You can use NTFS permission to deny access to anyone.
Another thing you can do is add a $ after the share name. It is then hidden and has to be physically typed into the address bar. For example, all hard drives/partitions are administrative shares, so as a n administrator you could type in:
\\PC-NAME\C$
and be able to access everything on your C: drive from another PC on the network as an administrator.
