ok i had a problem three weeks ago where my cd-rom wasnt reading newly aquired game star wars galaxies i had to wait 3 hours for it to finish reading and i have a 56x i changed some stuff in services.msc to tweak it out but i think i might have done something wrong while doing that so i got screwed. well anyway i deleted and created a new partition using my windows xp pro cd and it helped my cd-rom to work better but now i cant play my games anymore without lag everything was running fine before all this happened even my video card is running at the rate it used too can someone please tell me another way to reformat my computer other then deleting my partition i would really appreciate it ive been trying to look for stuff to help my system but evidently i cant find it.hopefully u guys can help me

Maybe a keyboard problem. How and when did you lose the ability to use punctuation and upper case letters?

Makes your post a little bit hard to read and understand.



Can you please describe the actual problem somewhat more detailed. Also look in event viewer (Start - Run - eventvwr.msc - OK ) for errors and when the problem occurs again try to find out via Task Manager if any process is eating an unusual amount of CPU power.

sorry about my proper grammer but i was trying to get to work without being late and i as trying to type fast. Well i did what u said and it seems like there is a lot of errors and warnings on all the 3 files.


i need to find out how to do a fresh reformat i have had problems with my network connection and graphics card and these problems didnt exist before my cd-rom started messing up and i had to reformat by deleting a partition. i play Tactical ops and i get messed up packet losses but i think what i need is a fresh reformat please tell me how to go by into doing this i need your help.
