| FYI- I just installed it. My bookmarks were hosed back to a state from over a month ago. Nearly all my add-ons were not working. I just restored 2.x until they can get the add-ons working. The bookmarks ordeal is absolutely asinine. I don't have any special profile nor is it moved from the default location. Running Vista Business btw. Hope this can help others who may be in for the same issues.
EDIT: Ok, I have it installed again, but exported the current bookmarks just incase....and yep, it did it again. Imported the bookmarks and they are working. The one add-on I must have, had a version that worked with RC1 of FF3 and its working on the release. I likey now

| Firefox 3 moved/kept all my favorites and remembered user names and pass words. I like it.
I didn't install the Google search bar, I better go get it. I live there

| No problems with installation on two separate systems. It went smooth, kept all bookmarks and settings. I would not worry too much about the add-ons as they generally are updated quickly to work with the newest version.

| Updated five machines to FF3 and no issues at all except the odd add-on problem, which of course as Russ stated will be updated very quickly i'm sure.

| I just remembered using a 'FoxMarks" add on to keep my desktop and laptop bookmarks sync'd. That may be why it fubar'd my bookmarks.
