Recently my PC been hit by Trojan BV..a lot of damage this thing done..I manage to recover my PC back but one thing I could not fix , so I need a really help here..please..

Before this trojan came my IE7 got Windows Live Toolbar installed and it was lost after this trojan hit.I have click on Tools>Toolbars on IE7 and could not locate the Windows Live Toolbar.I ran a check on Add Or Remove Programs the toolbar still in it but where it goes.So I reinstalled the toolbar and the result is the same..no toolbar on IE7..After that I installed another toolbar (Google Toolbar) and no toolbar appear.

I assumed that this problem is connected to Registry Editor that have been modified to make no toolbar on IE7..but I don't know where and how to turn it to default back....So, that is why you guys got to help me..Please reply ..Thanks

Welcome

First try resetting Internet Explorer IE7 settings back to default by following these instructions in the link below.
Make sure you read all the info before making a start.
Reset Internet Explorer Settings:
http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/12/628499.aspx

If still no joy,try uninstalling IE7 via Add or Remove Programs, you'll then be reverted back to IE6.

If the problem persists in IE6,do the following:
Download Trend Micro HijackThis 2.0.2 to your desktop:
Double click on HJTInstall.exe,it will prompt you to extract hijackthis.exe to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
When the install is complete,HijackThis will automatically launch.
When the license agreement appears, select "I Accept" and then click on the "Do a system scan only" button.
When the scan is complete, click on the "Save Log" button, then save it to your desktop.
Copy and paste the entire contents of that log into a new topic in the HijackThis Logs forum, not here.
