| Is there a way to get ie to look to another folder for the fovorites? I would like to set these up so that they all look up a folder on my nas drive and then I will allways have the same favs on all my pcs. |

| I don't see a Move choice in the Properties of Favorites but it may be possible to copy the Folder to the NAS then create a Bookmark in all the computers to that Folder.

| I know its not what you asked, but Mozilla's Firefox browser has an add-on (extension) called Foxmarks. It allows you to sync all copies of firefox bookmarks like you are talking about with IE.
Foxmarks
and
FireFox

| | I've moved Favorites to the D: drive by right clicking on the Favorites folder and dragging it to the new location on the D: drive, then release the mouse button and select Move. It might work for an NAS too. |

| | When you add a favorite will it update the folder from either computer? When you drag, is it a move or a copy? I just really want to get one set of favs that are available to multiple computers. I am probably asking too much aren't I? (edit) oops I missed the select move part but again will this update when you add? |

| | Yes it will update when you add more favorites later. As far as two computers accessing the same favorites, I never tried that. But it seems worth a try. I guess it would try it by moving one computer's Favorites there, then turn off that computer. Then I would rename that folder, ie "old favorites", then move the other computer's favorites to the exact same location, (making sure both computers used the same name, Favorites). Then combine the favorites from both folders into the new one, and see if both computers will access it. If it does not work, maybe you could just have separate favorites folders on the NAS and use a syncing program like Syncback to synchronize the two on a daily basis. |
