| Hi weedodger
How big is your hard drive?
What kind of data is on your hard drive, can you burn it to CD or DVD? Pictures could be uploaded to photobucket.
Shutting off System Restore and rebooting your computer will get a little space back for you. Remember to turn System restore on after the reboot.
To turn off System Restore
Open System Properties.
Ensure that the Turn off System Restore check box is selected.
Note
To open System Properties, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.
To turn on System Restore
Open System Properties.
Ensure that the Turn off System Restore check box is cleared.
Note
To open System Properties, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

| | No need to reboot when you disable System Restore - as soon as you click "okay" all restore points are deleted. You can also reduce the space allotted to the Temporary Internet Files Folder. Also be sure to empty the recycle bin.
