| HELP!! I CAN'T USE THE SHIFT+TAB ANYMORE. IT WON'T LET ME MOVE BACK. WHAT HAPPENED? I LOVED THIS SHORTCUT. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIX IT? I HAVE WINDOWS XP. PLEASE HELP.

| 2 things to check. 1 - does the tab key go forward? 2 - does the shift key work? Keys do go bad or maybe there is something lodged under the key cap preventing it from being fully depressed.

| YES BOTH THE SHIFT AND TAB KEYS WORK. THE SHORTCUT WORKS IN THE PROGRAM I USE FOR WORK. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK IN INTERNET EXPLORER.

| | Try turning off your Windows Live Toolbar - I had the same problem, and turning it off (didn't have to uninstall) worked for me.... |

| | IE uses control + tab to switch between tabs and ctrl + shift + tab to go back a tab. |

| Sorry, I didn't mean to yell at anyone. I'm not very good with computers. I didn't know that. Thanks for all the advice. I tried turning off the windows live toolbar and that didn't work. I'm not trying to do the control alt shift thing. i'm just trying to do shift and tab. It's just the opposite of hitting tab.
