| | What was the blue screen error? Have you run chkdsk /r from the recovery console? By the way, why not connect a usb keyboard just to make your post(s) more legible?

| Just trying to rule out a hd error. You still did not say if your ran chkdsk /r from the Recovery Console. If not, you should. If you can't do that, download the hd utility for your brand of hd from the manufacturer's website and use that to do a disk check and repair

| I just went to sleep and my dad took the hard drive apart now when I turn it on it wont go passed the dell screen. Just stays blank. There is a clicking in the HD sounds like something is loose.

| That clicking noise is known as the 'click of death'. Also sealed hard drive are not meant to be taken apart except in a 'clean room'. Time for a new drive.

| I would doubt they can save your data. I cant stress backups enough.
As far as the keyboard are you saying its a new keyboard meaning you have 2 keybds doing this? Or do you mean its a new laptop? I've only seen keyboards cause that - either the encoding chip is bad (in the keybd itself) possibly the cable but most common a spill of some sort.
