| | i have vista on my laptop and my windows explorer just recently began to restart after i close stuff like my computer and control panel. the dialoge box says that there is a problem then restarts and ive tried running a diagnostics or whatever on it and windows cant supply me with a solution so any help would be greatly appreciated. (lamans terms plz lol) |

| | 1) Please use punctuation. Your post is very difficult to read. 2) Windows Explorer is the file manager. Is that what you are talking about or is Windows restarting? 3) You said you've tried using "diagnostics or whatever". What does that mean???? 4) Have you checked the event log?

| | Sorry, I'm used to mmorpg chat. Yes, the file manager. Again, I'm sorry, I'm not entirely computer literate. Windows gave me a solution dialog box, I clicked fix then it said that the solution didn't work, and another one hasn't come up yet. |
