| | As you know, for example in Fedora, when you insert a CD into drive or plug in a USB Flash Drive, the respective icon shortcuts appear on the desktop (edit: Gnome Desktop). I would like this to be same in my XP. Is this accomplishable with some small startup script or reg tweak? |

| Probably can't be added to the core of WinXP. Anyhoo, WinXP has its autoplay feature and a plugged in device will usually automatically show in My Computer and Windows Explorer.
