| | In my registry all three of those entries are present. However, I'm using a third party visual style, logon screen, and boot screen. The background key is of a string value. It's value in my registry is [0 0 0] (without the []'s). Alas, I've no idea how to associate the value to the color you want. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, I just happened across this registry tweak and remembered this thread. Now that I look at it more closely, I believe that the tweak is somewhat misnamed, and that the "background" that is referred to is really the screen background and not the color of the box. |

| thanks for the link. At the moment i have no internet at home so i have to go to a coffee shop near my house. It try that tweak and let you know if it worked as soon as get the Infernet back on. Thanks again.
