| | I want to do 2 things: 1) Remove the home/feeds/printer/etc. icons from my command bar in Internet Explorer. I can do it, but they're still there in every new window. How do I permanently delete them? 2) How do I 'ungroup' multiple IE windows? I want each IE 'session' in the taskbar, which I can sometimes get. But most of the time, it stacks them so I have 2, 3, or 4 IE together and can't quickly see in the taskbar which is which. That's all I can think of for now. |

| To do the first thing. Open up IE. Then right click on the command bar and then go to "Customize Command Bar", "Then to Add/Remove Commands". From there you will be able to pick and choose what you want. And to seperate the IE windows on the taskbar, This requires all program grouping to be turned off. To do so Right click on your taskbar, Then go to Properties. Uncheck the option "Group Similar Taskbar Buttons". That should give you what your looking for.

From there you will be able to pick and choose what you want. I've done that, and those changes are lost when I exit IE (as I said in the OP). New windows have the default command bar icons again. cash2387 (2/20/2008)And to seperate the IE windows on the taskbar, This requires all program grouping to be turned off.
