| Hi, my brother in law was on my computer, he downloaded a few things like Nero and a torrent this morning. When I got on the computer it loaded up fine and everything with icons and the bottom bar, but then it would intermittently refresh every 5 seconds or so. I was able to keep a IExplorer page open though (it was still refreshing) and I googled the problem. I came upon a forum where someone had the same problem and just went through deleting torrents and such which were downloaded today. Thus I started deleting the Nero program, but then all the desktop icons dissappeared and the bottom bar dissapeared (bottom bar with the clock and programs and such). So I restarted the computer (it does the same in safe mode) and the same thing happened. The icons and internet turn on and such for a brief 30 seconds or so, then they completely dissapear. As I type right now, I was able to click on the Internet Explorer browser desktop icon before they dissapeared when I restarted the computer. The explorer is now open with no refreshing taking place, but the icons and bottom menu bar is missing. How do I fix this problem. I chanced upon this site through google and have followed the suggested download of that highjack tracker and saved the file and here is the log below. Please help me if you can thanks.

How can a browser helper object have no file? seems suspiciuos.I just looked that object up on the internet.It is spyware.

| | Thanks but what should I do, the task bar menu at the bottom is gone so I can't get into programs, and if I start the computer again it'll just refresh while I'm racing to open the uninstall programs page to erase Nero fully. Also, once the refreshing is done, the icons and task bar fully dissappear and if I had clicked on a web browser then I am lucky to at least get on the internet, but with no taskbar or icons. Thanks for any help. |
