Some of the text in certain programs, mainly photoshop won't show up against my black background... I changed every string in HKCU/Control Panel/Colors with the word text in it and I still could not get some of the words to show against my black backgrounds. Some I'm wondering if there is a string that I can add that someone might know of? Or if some of the system colors are in a different location? I changed all the colors using the registry specifically but if anyone knows any good 3rd party progs I would be more than happy with that also.

oh wow, i didnt think anybody went off the Classic dark text on white scheme anymore.
i LOVE the reverse scheme so the monitor is not glowing in my face, and text can be colored on a dark background, like black.  and i do it.
it still leaves that problem that some programs never thought that you or I :-)  would attempt to think outside of the Box were nailed shut into, and thier text is completly unreadable.

here is the problem
there are 3 ways to define the colors in the programming (some) programs use

Font.Color = 16773773   with the numbers

Font.Color = clWindowText  as the Default system

Font.Color = Dark Green    as a label

What these fine programmers have done is use a Locked in color, instead of the system color, for lots of the default text items that appear against the default background.
they never suspected that we would have say Dark 3d borders and all, and that is also why so few SCHEMES for themes exist with reverse colors, and why every scheme looks the same.

with small programs i can go in and manually hack up the designation , using resource hacker, and change it at will or to the ClwindowText thing.   its a pain, and it cant be done with some programs.
i dont know about photoshop, because its so huge, never bothered to try.
often the designations are in DLL items not just in executables.
that means to change it is to hack up ALL the programs that use that method.

After that dont you wish i had said nope cant do it

What i do when i am in a scheme and stuffed with a program like photoshop, is jump into Themes and load up a different one temporarily, if you SAVED your registry changes into a theme file thing, it will revert them using the theme file.
