A guy offered me a "new in the box" computer, says he buys them by the lot as is,so there's no warranty on them. Is there a way I can tell if the computer is stolen?

I know I see on Ebay where people buy them by the lot and sell them, but good deals usually don't come my way.

See if the seller has a strong history to back him up.
If he doesn't, obviously don't buy the computer.
You can take the computer to a retailer to see if it is stolen.

If it is, you can easily get your money back from eBay by reporting the problem.

Hope this helped.
