is any of you guys getting a problem like this ? My windows explorer keeps crashing ramdomly, the task starts to stick and make the icons and clickable  the start button disappears and when you launch it from the keyboard and the panel opens you only see some of the icons. on a few rare occasions when it stays like this for long it repairs it self, by restarting the windows explorer

anybody got this problem and a solution ??

thissometimes happes several times a day !!!

Which of the four versions of Vista do you have the problem on? Does the computer meet or exceed the System Requirements in all respects?

Can it be your anti virus software?
Kaspersky can be very intrusive

If you open My Computer and hit Alt, it will drop down the legacy menu.

Click 'Tools' > 'Folder Options...' > Select the 'View' Tab and check the box that says 'Launch Folder Windows In A Seperate Process'

This will modularize the explorer.exe process into several sub processes. So when the one thread that crashes does so, it will not affect the other window processes and you will only have to close that one single window.

This setting is also known to stabalize some problems under some circumstances, but it is not enabled by default because it uses more memory.
