| So, I want to do a clean install of windows media center on to my desktop. But I want to maximize speed and disk space. I have a couple programs already installed on my 2nd drive that is over 100gb. My main C drive is only 60gb. I want to do a install of windows that will allow me to not have to always reinstall my accessory programs, like; musicmatch, nero, itunes, photoshop and various other programs like those, each time a want to reinstall windows to clean up the computer on occasion. I have a tv tuner card that I am using on my computer now, but I don't like all that the software that comes with it, does. So I am going to install media center. I have 768mgb of ram. And all that I have running sucks up a over half that It didn't really have a problem until now. I have never really done a reinstall of windows since I got this desktop 3 years ago.
Will installing those accessory programs work normally after each time I do a system reinstall like that, say once every 4 to 6 months? Or am I looking at more headache than it is worth. |
