Ive had many problems with Vista and I want to REMOVE it off my PC completly and install XP home instead but when I put the CD in it wont install as the pc says it doesnt recognize or cant read the CD.

LUCIANO IS THE BOMB.

Could be the CD itself is scuffed or scratched, could be the CD Drive is faulty. Do other CDs work in the drive? At what point do you get the message?
