Hey all,
just wondering if anyone knows how to edit the Windows XP (Home, Pro) background picture in the logon box. Not the Welcome Screen.

YOU CAN USE BOOTSKIN.EXE SOFTWARE FROM www.bootskin.com.

DIFFERENT BACKGROUND SKINS ARE AVAILABLE AT www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=32

RUN THE POGRAMM LATER DOUBLE CLICK ON SKINS THEY OPEN IN THE SOFTWARE APPLY AND REBOOT

tweak the registry:

User Key: [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors]
Value Name: Background
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: 0 0 0 - 255 255 255

However the monitor works at 60 hz while booting, so some colors will flick
