i was reading on google, where sum one said it doesnt need one is that true. i have recently installed ultimate, and i want one but i cant find any either. can some one shed some light on this topic for me plz

Although Windows Vista has many security enhancements,the risk of malware infection on this platform is still relatively high,a good antivirus software installed is a must.
Most of the top antivirus vendors software is now compatable with vista,so it won't be difficult at all in finding an antivirus program to suit your budget.
