| A caveat, be careful with those shortcuts, if one is the actual .exe file that runs a program it may be inadvertantly deleted instead of the shortcut to that .exe file.

| I looked all over for a "PowerToys" like solution to no avail. The scheme of replacing icons with a clear substitute can cause havoc. Here's a solution I have found for this and MANY other Vista-tweak shortcomings. It is not freeware but does have a 15 day trial.
