| | I just tried the old XP registry trick of altering the path to desktop, documents, etc. by modifying the paths in the same (as XP) key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders] The trick actually works fine (that is, the folder settings are accepted once explorer.exe is restarted), however after that the Address bar in Explorer is grayed and with no path/address in it (where it used to say for example "Computer > SYSTEM (C: ) > Program Files" etc.). Does anyone have the same experience? Is there another/better/more correct trick to alter the folder settings? |

| | Christ I feel embarresed! Just realized (read another thread in here) that you can take the properties of the folder, for example the Desktop folder in your user fold, and change the location from there! Sorry, my bad, beers on me! |
