| | has anyone found out how to remove the Seach Bar/Search Engine on Start menu. other than changing it back to classic start menu! ?? |

| Are you refering to Vista's default system 'Search'.
If yes,do the following:
Right click on any blank area of the Start Menu,'Properties'.
The 'Taskbar and Start Menu Properties' window opens.
Under the 'Start Menu' tab,click on 'Customize'.
Scroll down to and uncheck 'Search'.
Press Ok/Apply/Ok.
Done.

| | As far as I know the search bar on the new Start Menu is not removable (this is by intention). |
