| | Starting yesterday, I could not logon to pokerroom.com. The error I got said that it could not logon to the server. I spoke to their tech support which told me to update Java. I went to update Java and said it could not do so due to my Internet Proxy Settings. I checked my LAN connection and the Proxy settings box is unchecked. Any idea why this is happening, pretty much out of the blue? Thanks, Scott |

| Download/install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Then run it using it's default configuration. Make sure you scan and clean using all three options: Windows Applications Issues Exit the program when you've done.Download the Hoster from: http://www.funkytoad.com/download/hoster.zip 1. Extract the zip file to your desktop or a permanent folder on your hard drive. 2. Open the folder and double-click on the Hoster.exe 3. Press "Restore Microsofts Original Hosts File" 4. Press "OK" and exit the program, reboot. Go here, see if you've got the latest version of Sun Java installed: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Is pokerroom.com the only site you can't access,or are there others!
Try scanning with Adaware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy. Update their definition files first.

| | I did what you asked but when I tried to get the Java update I once again got the error "The installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection Proxy settings. Please check the installation notes for more information". I also tried to log into the pokerroom.com platform and still get the cannot log into server error. Scott |
