I am trying to shrink and partiotion my drive using vista. I have 30GB of space available on my C: but when I want to shrink I only get the option of using 3 GB. I checked pagefiles and so forth but it does not change anything.

Input would be appreciated

I don't know about anyone else, but I have no idea what you are talking about. What do you mean you want to "shrink your drive"?

Shrinking is a new feature enabled in VISTA and allows to partion the drive without tools like partion magic...

Really? Thanks - didn't know that - and sorry I can't help. As you can tell, I'm just learning about Vista along with the rest of you
