| | Alright, I'm new here so I apologize if I'm starting on the wrong foot with this. I'm trying to install Service Pack 2 for Windows XP to my pc so that I can add a video card with the correct drivers. I'm going through Windows Update online, but continually come up with the same error messages. When it backs up the system the message " Cannot copy imjpcic.dll" comes up. I click retry and nothing. I click cancel to continue without that .dll and it goes for a little while 'til the next message which says: Unable to read from or write to the database. Then it finishes the installation process saying that it has failed. I've tried downloading the imjpcic.dll file into c:\windows\system32\dllcache so that it can find it, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |
