I am on NTL Broadband and have a 10mb connection, I can max this out at 12mb download during the morning and get average speeds of 5mb in the evening.
NTL? 10mb what is NTL and how much does it cost?

Rogers HiSpeed, so its cable internet capped at 5Mbps. Pay $30CAD since it's bundled with other services.

I've gotten total faster speed using ftp once, it was around 6Mbps with 14 downloads.

NTL provides Broadband / Tv and Phone connections via cable, you can check out their website Here.

I have the full speed broadband (10mb) at £35 per month but you can also get 1 & 2mb connections at a lower cost.

I have DSL through my local phone company. (small town of about 700 people so they own this area)

3 Mb downstream and 576 Kb upstream. $49.95 a month (OUCH!)

Note: There is no other broadband option around here.
