| I was at a Microsoft Seminar on Oct. 25 and all they could tell me is the Beta versions are limited in distribution. The RC/Release Candidates are supposed to be more available, probably after the first of the year.

| I would be interested to know how many of our members are testing Vista.
I've been trying to locate a copy so i can get myself clued up before it's official release. To say they are rare is a vast understatement.

| | I too got my copy by making contacts at a Microsoft Seminar back in September, here in Alaska. To get the copy though I had to e-mail my Microsoft contact and ask about it, and once he remembered the conversation we had about Vista, he got the ball rolling and had a copy sent to me. I was supposed to be Beta testing it back when it came out, but lost the job I had with that company and went to another, when the seminar came along I went under the newer job. As an IT person in a Small town like Anchorage, it is important to me, to stay on the cutting edge with technology in order to get ahead of JoeShmoe the Average Computer tech. I still respond with my errors to Microsoft, but I go through my contact, who forwards them to the correct people. |
