Hello all!

My friend wants to update his windows 98 to higher like maybe XP Or 2000 and another of my friend update his and all including games and softwares removed! why is that?

When Upgrading an Operating System a person has to be careful/pay attention in making some choices that the HDD/Hard Disk Drive doesn't get reformatted, will result in loss of data on the HDD.

Oh thanks I will warn my friend about that and you know which file compression is the best? between winzip winrar and winace please tell other brands as well sorry if it's not about updating windows but it's still an update!

I've used WinZip since back when Win95 came out and PKZip/PKUnzip from PKWare before that on DOS/Win3.xx. For the few times I've gotten other compression formats I rely upon PowerDesk from VCOM and it's built-in support. PowerArchiver used to be a good free one if it can still be found [may charge now], or EasyZip.
