| my old power supply is 20 pin, and my new mother board is 24 pin. Will the power suppy work for my new motherboard or i need to get new one. I try to put my 20 pin power supply in, but when i turn on my pc, all the power is on except it not shown anything in my monitor !

| You do need a newer power supply. Some come with a 24-wire connector and some have the 20-wire plus an additional/separate 4-wire connector which plugs into a separate 'socket' or at one end of the 20-wire 'socket'.
