Here is the scoop.... We have an accounting application that has a MS SQL backend. This application is a Windows only application and we have several Macs in the environment. To compensate for this we have been running Citrix Metaframe XP on Windows 2000 Server. This has worked fine for the last 3 years but recently is falling behind in performance. Because of this we are implementing a new server running 2003 Server.

On the 2003 server everything is working fine except for one thing. Unless the user is added to the local admin group on this server they are unable to make connection to the SQL server. Does not matter if they are logged in at the console or through the Citrix client. I have tried using both system and user DSN's with no luck. The only way the connection can be completed is if the user is in the admin group.

What am I missing?
