| I am helping a windows 98 cust build a manual dial up connection for a wireless air card but can not see how to build a manual dial up connection via Windows 98?
According to a system I use, it should be:
Start>settings>Network Connections (under control panel) but all my 98 customers dont see that option underneath control panel...is there a short cut or a specific location in 98 to build a manual dial up connection?
Thanks

| Double-click MY COMPUTER. Once the window opens, there should be a DIAL-UP NETWORKING folder. Double-click that folder. Once the window opens, there should be a MAKE NEW CONNECTION icon. Double-click that icon, then follow the directions.
Once the new connection is created, you need to go into its properties and enter all the necessary information and correct settings, depending on what ISP is being used, or else the connection will not work. A tech support person for that ISP should be able to talk you through it.
