Hi guys

I have just installed Longhorn to beta test using my MSDN subscription, I have installed it on a seperate partition and have Windows Xp Pro on a dual boot.

Unfortunately I am unable to establish an Internet connection when I boot to Longhorn, I have disconnected my Router and connected my modem direct to the computer. I have tried to renew my ip and have disabled the Windows Firewall but am still unable to get a connection.

I do get a few hardware messages after reaching the desktop - asking me to install Multimedia Sound / USB / PCI Controller, but I'm not 100% sure which hardware it's referring to. I have a folder on one of my partitions which contains all of the original drivers for my Pc but this still doesn't help.
Any suggestions on how to set up Internet connectivity on Longhorn will be greatly appreciated

Wez

After a bit of googling - I have managed to get the Internet working on Longhorn, just needed to update my Ethernet drivers (even though no problems were highlighted in device manager   )
