Click on Start>Run,type [b]regedit[/b] then press Ok,navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Explorer
In the right hand pane double click on [b]NoRecentDocsMenu[/b]
If it does'nt exist create a new '[b]DWORD Value[/b]'
Rename that new value exactly: [b]NoRecentDocsMenu[/b]
Double click on [b]NoRecentDocsMenu[/b] and set it's '[b]Data value[/b]' to [b]1[/b]
Reboot when you've done.

Would like to get rid of "recent documents" in windows start menu while using classic view.

Easy to do while in normal view, but can't figure out how it is done in classic view
