Diskeeper provides a Beta copy of Diskeeper 10 for Vista - it is a full working copy and will be good for one year. Go to that site and download it. It can schedule derag as often and how you like.

Why would you want to defrag your HD every 3 hours? You can set it on a schedule by clicking on start/admin tools/disk defrag/ see image below.

Is there anyway of tweaking the schedule for auto defragmentation in Windows Vista?

Currently, the highest frequency you can have is every day at a given time.

I was wondering if anyone has succesfully managed to tweak the registry to alter the setting say to every 3 hrs or something?.

(I have searched through the reg but can't find anything to alter :hehe: )
