Hii there..i suggest to use Quicktme player,latest versions,can play much type formated movie,go google it ,but the best ever is from http://www.download.com this player can play 3gp file and also can fast forward it ,not like Nokia Media Player,which cant fast forward the watching 3gp file,

Thanks for the replies. I found a prog called DivX which worked and has adjustments for brightness :-) I will use the other prog you suggested for other movies I'm I might have aproblem with in the future. Thanks again :D

K-Lite Codec Pack is probably your best bet.

.avi movie help

I downloaded a movie from http://www.diflix.com/ and tried to watch it in Windows Media Player 11. It is an .avi file and loaded fine but all that displayed was the current vizualization (bars/waves), no picture. I checked the box to play avi files. Any idea? Should I d/l quicktime (which I don't like)?
