These are part of a network of companies that are all linked to one organisation that installed and configured them. They run the forest and their server run windows server 2003 as well.

What i was wondering if that could the server in the company that installed them be applying group polices to our servers to chagne certain behaviours, or settings and/or stop us from modifying settings ourselves.

And another query regarding public folders. As we are all part of the same network, under all public foldrs in outllok 2003 we can see every public folder for all the other organisations.

Is there a way that we can hide all of this and then only show our own public folders. OUr public fodlers are hosted on the companies server, and i have a sneaking suspicion that if we moved them to our own servers, and this might solve the problem?

Can any one help?

Thanks
