I am going through a DSL connection. I brought my computer over to a friends house, he has comcast. I was able to play wow without it freezing while I was there. Yet when I came back to my Verizon DSL connection, it went back to the same problem. Im also playing Wow, and am having some strange sound blip problems with it. Random noises durring game play; that sort of thing.

Everywhere I look online for EQ2 and it's freezing problems, the devs all seem to think these computers are overheating. I've checked my comp. temp. several times and it's fine. I've updated sound, network, video drivers and nothing seems to help in that way. My firewall doesn't seem to be the problem either. After a lot of testing and other troubleshooting, Im at my wits end. I've even reformatted and reinstalled EQ2 and the same problem resurfaced. Should I just contact my DSL ISP?
