possibily UPDATES from microscum might be effected, if you use autoupdates, or before updating, you better make sure this isnt ruining it.
OK, so i am Guessing, but i try hard |

| Story goes that i am on 56k till 1st of next month. then i'll be on my onboard LAN cable again. but whenever i am on 56k i get hit with attempted connections to port 445...kerio firewall warns me. so i looked it up on google and decided to disable it . problem ! rebooted and kerio 215 dies with a fatal exception ! adios kerio 215. i'll move to kerio 403 now i guess. ...and create a block rule for port 445 ...just in case. oh,and \Device\ is what is located at that reg entry Psyco |

| Task scheduler is needed for scheduled virus scans and basically any other scheduled tasks that you've set up, too.

|
Task scheduler is needed for scheduled virus scans and basically any other scheduled tasks that you've set up, too.
right , so does the port have to be activly listening, , for a sheduled update (some executable) to jump out on the web? and is the task scheduler erroring and complaining or not functioning, and holding up boot?
theoretically we didnt stop any outgoing from opening the port, like a total firewall blockage of that port would, we just stopped it from listening for the next virus.
all them things would be helpfull to know, if anyone tests this.
