I have a Dell computer running Win 2000. I dont want my computer to flash that Dell screen up when it boots up. Where can I find that that. Also what about the windows sound, cant I change that too? thanks,

James,

Chances are that the Dell splash screen can be disabled through the system BIOS. Enter the BIOS on your next boot and look for something like 'Boot Screen' and turn it off.

The sound thing you should be able to change/disable from within the control panel (sounds).
