| Lo all.
I just got this error, this is pasted from the event log:
The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Reboot the machine.
Why did this shut down? I don't have a clue what happened

| thanx, i can't view the last link, says page can't load. I have XP Home with sp1, do i need to get an update to stop this from happening? its only happened once.

| Run > services.msc
scroll down to RPC and double-click
click on Recovery tab and change the action to "Take No Action" |
