| Mine is about 30C, never gets above 34C. If your board is that hot, what is your processor running at (temp). There are more here that know more about hardware than I do. I can tell you that you are running over the norm in my experience though.

| things aren't adding up...... the cpu is never cooler than the mobo

| IMO he's just confused the two.
The 55 - 60 will be for the CPU and the 45 for the mobo, not the other way around.

Here is the screen shot of Hmonitor. You can see that the motherboard temperature is 58 and CPU temp is 42
