hi everyone.... i have a sblive and audigy on the same computer.... after reinstalling my live drivers, when i run AC3 encoded movies the rear speakers are extremely muffled. i dled the latest drivers and AC3 filter. anyway i reinstalled the drivers with the latest audigy one after uninstalling the live drivers... but still i have the same problem. it seems both soundcard has this muffled rear output for ac3. i nvr experienced this b4 only after reinstalling my drivers did i have this prob.thanks in advance!

Other sound sources using the rear speakers are fine?


How about audio/movie decode codecs for the AC3 movies -- got the latest versions?

yes u am using the latest ac3 filter for my players. its from sourceforge. for mp3 encoded movies it turn out alright. thanks for replying!
