I have a new western digital 80gb @7200rpm 8mb cache, i want to copy my curret xp drive complete (preferably with going through xp installation process) are there any programs for this???
also does anyone have any suggestions for the version of linix i put onto the old 5500rpm drive??

You can create an image of your current installation and then ghost it onto the new harddrive. You will need something like Powerquests Drive Image or Norton Ghost to do this. Just back up to CD(s).
As far as Linux goes, I am a newbie to the stuff, but I've found Redhat to be very easy to install and use. As far as I know, Mandrake is similarly easy.
